hireEZ or Hire Forge AI: the short answer
hireEZ and Hire Forge AI are not direct substitutes.
- Choose hireEZ when you need candidate sourcing, ATS rediscovery, CRM, outreach and recruiting workflows in one platform layered over your ATS.
- Choose Hire Forge AI when applicants already exist and your immediate bottleneck is screening and ranking batches of CVs against a job description.
The price difference reflects that scope. hireEZ's official pricing page lists its Solo product from $494 per month with a seven-day trial. Enterprise pricing is custom. Hire Forge AI publishes a seven-day trial with 100 CV screenings, then plans at £25 per month for 350 credits and £50 per month for 1,000.

What happened to Hiretual?
Hiretual rebranded as hireEZ. People still search for the former name, but the current product and commercial information sit under hireEZ. This page keeps its existing URL so old references continue to work while using the current product name throughout.
hireEZ now describes a much broader platform than a standalone sourcing tool. Its published scope includes sourcing, candidate CRM, outreach, screening, scheduling and analytics on top of an existing ATS.
Pricing compared
| Cost area | Hire Forge AI | hireEZ |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | 7 days; 100 CV screenings; no credit card | 7 days for Solo |
| Entry paid plan | £25/month; 350 credits | $494/month for Solo |
| Higher published plan | £50/month; 1,000 credits | No standard enterprise price |
| Enterprise | Not presented as an enterprise suite | Custom, based on the stack being consolidated |
| Implementation | Self-service screening workflow | Confirm onboarding, integration and service scope in quote |
These prices are not a like-for-like feature comparison. hireEZ covers more of the recruiting funnel. The useful question is whether your team will use and benefit from that broader scope.

When hireEZ is the better choice
You need to create the candidate pipeline
hireEZ is designed to help recruiters find candidates across its profile database and external channels. That is valuable for hard-to-fill roles where inbound applications are not enough.
Hire Forge AI does not source candidates. It starts after CVs have arrived.
You want to reactivate ATS data
Large organisations often hold years of candidate records that recruiters struggle to search or re-engage. hireEZ's platform is positioned to rediscover candidates, organise them in a CRM and run outreach without moving between several point tools.
You plan to consolidate several recruiting tools
hireEZ says its enterprise price is configured around the stack it replaces. That buying model is most credible when a team can retire sourcing, CRM, outreach, screening or scheduling tools—not when it is adding another overlapping subscription.
Before signing, calculate the current annual cost of every contract being replaced and confirm which workflows are actually included. The AI recruitment pricing guide gives you a consistent comparison framework.
When Hire Forge AI is the better choice
You already receive enough applicants
For many SMBs and agencies, the problem is not finding more people. It is reviewing hundreds of inbound CVs quickly and consistently. Hire Forge AI focuses on that one stage: upload CVs, add the job description and review a ranked shortlist with match information and summaries.
You want a low-cost screening pilot
The published trial and monthly plans let a small team test screening without an enterprise sales process. A representative pilot should compare the AI shortlist with human review and record disagreements, missed evidence and time saved.
You do not need a new sourcing or CRM platform
Paying for a broad suite is difficult to justify when the existing ATS, job boards and recruiter workflow already cover sourcing and pipeline management. A focused tool can be the better commercial choice, provided manual file transfer is acceptable while integrations remain on the roadmap.
Review the current Hire Forge feature set and published pricing rather than relying on older comparison claims.
Where neither product is the right fit
Neither product should be selected merely because a team wants “AI recruitment.”
- If you need an applicant tracking system, compare products such as Workable or Manatal.
- If conversational apply and automated frontline scheduling are the core problems, compare Paradox, Humanly or Fountain.
- If you need a resume parser inside your own software, evaluate a parser API instead of a recruiter-facing platform.
The Paradox alternatives guide separates these product categories, while the parser API comparison covers build-versus-buy decisions.
Questions to ask hireEZ
- Which sourcing, CRM, outreach, screening and scheduling capabilities are included in our quote?
- Which ATS integrations are native, and what data syncs in each direction?
- What limits apply to profiles, contacts, messages, users and jobs?
- What implementation, data migration, training and support fees apply?
- Which existing contracts can we realistically retire?
- How does the four-week verification work, and what success criteria are agreed before it starts?
- What happens to exported data and candidate records if we leave?
Questions to ask Hire Forge AI
- Which CV file formats and batch sizes are supported?
- How are job criteria translated into scores and summaries?
- Can reviewers inspect the evidence behind a recommendation?
- How should recruiters validate false positives and false negatives?
- What retention, deletion and access controls apply?
- Which ATS integrations are live today, rather than planned?
- How many credits will our monthly application volume consume?
The complete AI screening guide covers evaluation and rollout, and the screening compliance guide covers oversight and vendor due diligence.
A practical buying test
Use one completed role with known outcomes or run a controlled live pilot with human review.
For hireEZ, measure sourced-candidate relevance, reply rate, ATS rediscovery, recruiter time and the number of separate tools removed. For Hire Forge AI, measure review time, shortlist agreement, false exclusions and whether the summaries help recruiters make a better next-step decision.
Do not compare only the number of features. Compare the cost and quality of completing the workflow you actually need.
Verdict
hireEZ is the stronger choice for a team that needs sourcing and orchestration across a broader recruiting stack. Hire Forge AI is the more focused and substantially lower-priced choice for teams that already have applicants and need faster CV screening.
If you are unsure, write the bottleneck in one sentence. “We cannot find enough qualified candidates” points toward hireEZ. “We cannot review the qualified applicants we already receive” points toward Hire Forge AI.
